3. Course Bookings

All bookings are made through our official website, authorised partners, or directly via email.

A deposit is required to secure your place. The deposit amount will be clearly stated at the time of booking.

The remaining balance must be paid by the date specified in your invoice or booking confirmation.

Your booking is confirmed once payment has been received and a confirmation email has been issued.

4. Prices and Payment

All prices are listed in British Pounds Sterling (GBP).

Prices may be shown exclusive or inclusive of VAT, which will be clearly indicated at checkout or on the invoice.

Payments can be made via bank transfer, Tide payment link, Shopify checkout, or other approved methods.

We reserve the right to adjust prices at any time prior to booking confirmation.

5. Cancellations and Refunds

Deposits are non-refundable unless a course is cancelled by us.

If you cancel your booking:

More than 8 weeks before the course start date: 50% of the full fee (minus deposit) will be refunded.

Less than 8 weeks before the start date: no refund will be issued.

If a course is cancelled or rescheduled by us, you will be offered:

A full refund, or

A transfer to another available course date.

We are not responsible for any travel or accommodation costs incurred.

6. 14-Day Cooling-Off Period (Online Bookings)

Under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations (2013), customers who book a course online have the right to cancel their booking within 14 days of purchase without giving a reason.

To exercise this right, you must contact us in writing (by email) within 14 days of your booking confirmation date.

If you cancel within this period, we will refund any payments received, less any non-refundable transaction fees, provided that the course has not yet started.

By completing your booking and paying a deposit, you agree that course administration and preparation (including reserving your place, materials, and partner arrangements) may begin immediately.
If you request that your booking begins within the 14-day period, you acknowledge that you may lose your right to cancel once the service has been fully provided or substantially started.

This policy does not affect your statutory rights.

7. Course Attendance

Participants must arrive on time and bring any required tools or equipment as stated in the course details.

Failure to attend part or all of the course for personal reasons will not qualify for a refund.

We reserve the right to refuse entry or remove any participant whose behaviour is disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate.

8. Educational Materials

All course materials, manuals, and digital resources are for personal educational use only.

Reproduction, distribution, or sharing of materials without written consent is strictly prohibited.

Any photo or video content created during the course may be used by Hiro Haircutting Education Ltd for promotional or educational purposes unless you request otherwise in writing.

9. Liability

We take every care to provide a safe and professional learning environment.

However, Hiro Haircutting Education Ltd is not liable for any personal injury, loss, or damage to property occurring during a course or while travelling to and from the venue.

Participants are advised to hold their own personal and professional insurance where appropriate.

10. Intellectual Property

All course names, concepts, videos, and images on this website are the property of Hiro Haircutting Education Ltd or its partners (Mazella & Partners, Mizutani Scissors,  ;, etc.).

You may not copy, reproduce, or use any content without prior written permission.

11. Privacy and Data Protection

We only collect and store information necessary to process bookings and communicate with you.

All personal data is handled in accordance with the UK Data Protection Act 2018 and GDPR.

12. Changes to Courses or Instructors

We reserve the right to make reasonable changes to course dates, locations, or instructors due to unforeseen circumstances.

Any such changes will be communicated as soon as possible, and participants will have the option to transfer or request a refund.

13. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
